About the Event
All staff and managers within early childhood education and care services.
To equip participants with knowledge of cultural competence, and the basic capabilities to interact in spaces with Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander peoples. The workshop provides participants with tools and knowledge to develop their own cultural competence capabilities and apply them within early childhood settings, and in particular to embed them within the National Quality Standards and Early Years Learning Framework.
SNAICC – National Voice for our Children is the national peak body for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, working tirelessly for the safety, development and wellbeing of our children and families. SNAICC works with Cultural Fusion facilitators, Dr Shane Houston and Shane Perdue, in the delivery of this program.
